Don’t be alarmed water skiing does not require a lot of equipment. It is however necessary that you have a boat which will be the most costly. Other equipment you will need will be skis, a life jacket and a rope to attach to the boat
If you do not have a boat then you could use some sort of reliable vehicle driven at a continuous speed along the sea shore, fast enough to enable you to stand on the water. This is however exceedingly dangerous.
In addition to your gear you will need a dry suit, protective gear such as kneecaps, helmets, goggles and gloves this will enable you to remain dry while skiing.
The design of the suit will reduce friction whereby helping the skier to reach greater speeds. The suit would also absorb some injury to the body if there should be an accident.
All necessary precautions to safeguard life and limb should be taken whether it be practice skiing or show skiing.
